Ok bout got the IROC rolling again, to get yall up to speed, its a 89 Iroc L98 9 BOLT 3.27 rear, 4 corner disc brake car... alot of people will probably not like it but i pulled the L98 (was having alot of problems with the injection when i got it, and i already had my new carbed crate 350 for my 86 Z28 so i opted to put it into the 89) now my motor is in i kept the serpintine system, witch was btw a pita, but its on... i like the way its turning out, im gonna go finish the wiring and fuel line plumbing tommorow and fire her up. Then monday my exhaust is getting welded on...I dont know why im really posting this, just want to show her off a little, i know there are a million better 3rd gens on here, but this is mine I already love her, gonna get her painted soon, thinking black but might stick with the current color...looking to put some 17'' Z06 rims on soon to, i hate those centerlines that came on it but they will do for now... My goal is a clean street ride, in the 12.5-12.7 area, thinking my 350 and a 100hp shot of juice will get me close any comments/segestions are welcome.... o yeah anyone know who makes the hood thats on it? Came on the car so i have no clue. thanks....

Looks nice every time I see these 350s I want to throw one in mine but I don't really need the extra gas bill. What exhaust are you putting on?
Everyone should show off their work, cause it takes a good bit of time and beer and cursing but at the end you built it.

 

ive got the hooker 2055s and flowmaster american thunder cat back, i had on my 86... i loved the tone it was just awsome.... so im putting it on this one...my 86 is gutted so i just robbed all the parts from it lol, gonna turn the 86 into a Drag car, thinking big block for it though. but thats another post...

o i guess maybe i should say what the engine is, 295 hp 325 ftlb torque 350, with edelbrock performer rpm air gap intake, holley 670 street avenger carb, and above mentioned exhaust, want to swap to the LUNATI VOODOO 60103lk cam& lifter combo with a set of 195cc Patriot Performance heads... and 100shot NOS fogger plate system. getting 245/45/17 Nitto 555 up front, and i have a set of 275/40/17 Nitto 555R for the back and want a 2400 stall...like i said b4 im shooting for 12.5 to 12.7 on the bottle...

 

looking good so far.. sounds like she'll be a screamer when its done.
