92 camaro, start to current

have been on here a while now and enjoyed looking at your guys' pics of the fbodys, and figured i should post what i started with and where i'm at now. these first two are of the car when i first got it, field fresh. know the origional owner, he yanked the 3.1 liter and auto and wanted to put a 350 in, and car only made it to the dismantle stage, and sat for 9 YEARS!! and was wrecked ontop of it. painted up a old bumper just to throw on it and dropped in a 327 and a 350TH to start me off with.

Re: 92 camaro, start to current

just a pic of the 327 it used to have, and one more at the end of the first summer i worked on it. also by this time, i swaped the 350TH for a WC T5 setup and a 3.42 posi PBR disc axle.

Re: 92 camaro, start to current

heres the 350 that replaced the blown up 327, and the engine compartment mostly dismantled for the color change.....wish i woulda got pics of the trashed interior when i got it. i've since replaced it with deluxe interior out of a 87....all i could find but it still looks pretty nice.

Re: 92 camaro, start to current

here is what it currently looks like. the 350 will loose its 083s, performer intake, and 600 edelbrock in place of some 906 vortec heads, a airgap manifold, and a 600 holly carb, and i already yanked the 5 speed stuff in favor of a t56 swap. almost no origional body panel left on the car, completely different interior, springs and swaybars off a WS6 TA, literally, i've had everything off the car and back on with exception of the dash its self. i've got about 6,000 in the car with parts and paint job, and 2 summers and a winter of work!
