i got an 89 camaro rs, what are some ways to improve hp. i.e. products? im new to the camaro game.

 

Headers, Exhaust, Intake, Engine (depending on what type you have), Nos, etc.

 

First, a 89 Camaro RS could have one of two motors, the V-6 MPFI and the 305 V-8 TBI.

Second, what are your goals and budget, that makes a world of difference.

Third, posting in the "Appearance and Detailing" section is not the appropriate place for questions on making more horsepower.

I would suggest going to the TBI section and posting a thread that says something like this:

I own a <year> <model car> with the <engine type> and <transmission type>. I have <insert $$ amount here> and I would like to do <insert your goals here> with my car. Can anyone make any suggestions as how I can best get there with my budget?

Obviously if you say I want a 700 HP car on a $400 budget, you won't get many answers. However, if you have some realistic goal you'll find plenty of people that are happy to help you.
