My 84 Z. got any suggestions?

This is my 84. The paints a little rough, you cant really tell from photos but its pretty chipped up. Ive been doing some work on it during the winter in the garage, magnaflow catback, dynomax headers, put a rebuilt 355 in it (still working on that) put a B&M F-body hammer shifter in it. and thats about it. Let me know what you think and tell me what i could improve on.

(sorry, pictures are bad. digital camera is broken and all i have is my phone.)

It looks like some of your dent guard molding (or whatever it's called) is missing.

I just recently took all of mine off my 83Z when I painted it. I think it really made an improvement in the way it looks. Gave it a much cleaner look.

Some people will argue that the side looks plain with it missing, but I think the early Zs look better without it.

Nice car btw!

Looks great, I loved seeing a car like mine with the stripes and proper rims. IMHO I prefere the look of the molding. Looks like you are missing one of the center caps. Engine bay looks clean without all the smog stuff. How much power do you think you are going to get from that 355?

Yeah ive kinda been thinking of just tearing that molding off, because i cant find any of it to buy. and yeah im missing one of the center caps on the rear pass. side. as far as the horsepower goes with the 355...im thinking 310 maybe? Im not really sure. But its got the stock quadra-bog on it. I ran out of money halfway through the build. How did you get your molding off with out chipping up the paint on the door?

get some leather gloves, and some fishing line, and use the fishing line like floss, and cut the glue holding the molding on, then once the molding is off, CAREFULLY remove the glue from the dorr with out damaging the paint. it takes patience, but works
