I bought this car is september of 05' it was fairly straight and rust free, had a original and leaking LG4 and 700R4, being that i was still in high school and didnt have a whole lot of money, not a whole lot got done on it. I started fixing the little things, and soon realized it needed more than thought. I was a high school senior at that point, so i made the decision to take it completely apart. One of the first things i did to the car was a set of UMI performance SFC's. I was actually lucky enough to get to use the school shop and supplies, and at the same time i pulled the complete interior out.

At this point a bought a set of 4th gen black and gray front and rear seats, and some brand new medium gray fron and rear carpet.

Unfortunately, the car sat again for some point, and finally in Jan/08 i was able to pull the LG4 and 700R4, and throw em both in the trash. Being built to go in its place is a mild 350tpi and a 5spd(Ive built an aluminum headed 355tpi, but it needs more partssuch as a t56, 12bolt etc... to support the kind of power it will make so this combo is just so i can drive it this year.) Since the engine was pulled Ive spent the last year acquiring more parts needed to finish the car/engine. The 350 tpi started life as a used and abused company truck engine from a 97 2500(4 bolt main) which had spun a rod bearing. (pics to come) I purchased a eagle balanced rotating assemblie(got a smoking deal on it, 600$) and the block has now been sent to the machine shop to get bored 0.030 over, tanked, maganfluxed, and new cam bearings and frost plugs installed. The heads are a set of low mile rebuilt 083 stock l98 castings, which will get some light porting, and upgraded springs, along with a ZZ4 cam, and long slot rockers. I also recently purchased a complete MAF tpi setup, which im in the process of polishing. Everything engien related is getting replaced. all old will be new again.
This engine was originally being built for my 91 Z28, but i reallt wanted something to drive this year, and made the decision to put the bigger combo on the backburner, and put this engine in this car.
Backing the engine is a centerforce DF clutch, witha rebuilt 5 spd, and a LS1 aluminum driveshaft. I will also be swapping the diff from the 91 which is a 3.42 disc brake posi, until i can buy a 12 bolt for this car.
