Anyone help me with rims and tires?
Hi guys, I am proud to be a part of this group of sophisticated personnel. I bought a 1986 Iroc 9 years ago for 1500bucks can, so about 2 dollars US(LOL), and it is in primo condition, stock with only a chip. I got her in the shop now, I bought it with 32000miles and now it has 41000. Not much miles on for 9 yrs. But I want help with slick mags and tire sizes. What is the biggest and best mag rim slick tire for the stock at the rear and what size should I put on the front????
I rebuilt the tranny for the most I can get out of 700r4, got a superchip, got her in garage getting rear-end to 4.10 gears. Got some coin to sink into this girl. I want to make her zip good. I think it was all stock but I know it sure was able to smoke my 2006 hemi charger rt not a prob. I am not a genius when it comes to this stuff but I am motivated and at 29yrs old I think my mid-life has hit. I love Irocs, so any help would be appreciated.

& you'll answer 90% of your own questions......Besides that...WE can't answer that, without more info......
Does the OP want 15" with fat tires?
Does the OP want bigs-n-littles?
Does the OP want wide tires on all 4 corners?
Does the OP just want big WHEELS?

Hey I am sorry should be more clear I am new to this so I appreciate the details. I have stock 16" rims, just want to know what is the fattest tire and rim I can put on rear without tubbing and what is a good recommended size tire for the front, they should be skinnies right?

Please someone help me, I just want to know what is the widest tire and rim that can stuff on the back of my 86 iroc(stock) and how should the front tires look in relation. There are 16" stock rims now but I want to buy new ones. So give me the widest possible for 15", both rim and tire for rear, and what would match up. Dont care about handling. Just a little city driver.
Please help me, I cant find anything that directly relates to my 1986 camaro Z28 iroc-z. Its blue, its fast, I want the ideal tires/mags for it. Help?????

I put 15x10 with 5" b.s. centerlines with a 270/65/15 on the back and 15x4's up front. Cant remember what size tire upfront. Stephens right, if you search this site you will find many tire and rim combos. Welcome to the board!
