Door side moldings...
I have a 1992 Z28 and I need to replace the side molding on the passenger side door. I found a place online where I can get a replacement, but it doesn't list the color. Here's the link: http://www.parts.com/oemcatalog/inde...layCatalogid=0
I need number 4 in that picture. Should I assume that it comes only in white?

Re: Door side moldings...
getting a good color match with an aftermarket part is impossible( almost ) . anyway check with a good local body/paint shop and ask them . there are so many side moldings that were/are used that it's hard to give a good answer . good luck .

I would figure that it would be the most body pieces that you buy and you have to have it painted your self to match but I really don't know. Try shooting them an email or calling.

I did notice that when you order it asks for your VIN number. I wonder if they'd use that to determine the color that you'd need?
