I recently got a hold of a 91 z28 305 tpi and it did the whole run for 20 mins get hot and shut off then not start but crank. I have been goin through ur guys threads and u have saved me alot of time ill be picking up a new pick up coil tomm and installing it. I pulled the cap off and its a bit rusty where the internal pick up coil is i believe so trying that first. u guys got a great forum

Sounds like your in the right area for your engine problem is it throwing any codes.

yeah its throwing the air bag code cause someone put a grant steering wheel in and i think they shorted the air bag. Havent been able to get it to a meter but ill put the new coil in and then if it is road worthy ill register it and bring it to like az

 

how do u time the motor when u dont have a timing gun i lost the spot where i was set?
