Yellow pages?
Restoring a car from the inside out can be quite a daunting task.
There are quite a few threads on these forums showing what has to be, and what can be done.
My advise, start with a general tune-up.
See what you purchased, make notes of what looks good and what looks bad.
If you have to give the car to a shop for every bit of work that's going to be done to it, then I really only have one piece of advise.
Sell it.
Look for a fully restored (ask for parts/shop receipts) thirdgen and spend $15 000 on the ready car. Then enjoy it and regularly have it inspected by a friendly workshop.
If you find $15 000 steep, then stop right there. A full restore will cost way more if you have to have everything done by shops, and costs about as much as the $15 000 car, which however you could drive from the moment you purchase it, rather then having to wait for 5 or more shops to do whatever they do best, if you do the work yourself.
I heard some rumours saying that a Mexican repair and Maaco paintjob cut the price considerably. Can not give any guarantees on the quality of the work or the finished car in that case however.
