Hi, I have a 1992 firebird and I love these ZR1 Black 17x9.5 Wheels http://www.hawksthirdgenparts.com/in...OD&ProdID=1595 but in the listing there and other places i have seen it they only advertise it fitting 1993-2002 firebirds. Would these wheels fit my car with spacers or is it just not compatable with it? If they can't fit are there any other wheels "in black", that look like that, that would fit?
Thanks

that's a funny question,
I copied and pasted this from the link:
With the correct wheel adapters these will also work on 1982-92 F-bodies.

Yes they will but you will need adapters

With 4 spacers, they will directly bolt on.

Or, with a 4th gen rear end swap, you only need 2 spacers for the front. 4th gen rears are a direct swap. The trailing arms are in the exact same spot, the shocks & springs line up perfectly, even the torque arm is the same. I think the brake fitting threads are the same, so you can simply unscrew the T-connector fitting, and the 4th gen one will fit in its place. A benefit to the 4th gen rear end swap could be upgrading form drum brakes to discs, or bigger 4th gen discs over the 3rd gen size discs.

Hehe, well I guess I should have read a little further. Ironic, I work in retail and always get agrivated at customers who don't read the packages all the way down to answer their questions, now i'm one of them! About that 4th gen rear end swap, how much do you think the total cost from that would be? Also, just out of curiosity, do you think these wheels look better http://www.hawksthirdgenparts.com/in...ROD&ProdID=480 or the first ones I pt on. They will end up costing about the same after factoring spacers in. Another quesiton, would spacers hurt my axles at all, or would it work perfectly fine? Hehe, also, I just looked on internet, do you think I should get 17x11 back and 17x9.5 in front, or 17x9.5 on both. Or shold I stick around 17x8's like on the chrome ones. I don't know, has anyone had experience in he sizing. Would some of them be too wide for my car? Last question, I think it is fine but 17 inches would look good on my car? Soo many quesitons lol.
