I bought this yesterday for 500. it has black leather interior. needs new fenders and new engine. Don't mind the dirty interior I haven't had a chance to clean it.

looks like a fun new project! is the door bent or something or is it just not closed all the way in the pic?
I didn't close the door all the way before I took the pics.

Must be nice I can never find a deal that good, you definatly got a steal on that car a little body work fresh motor and some paint you'll be good to go

Nice deal. Leather has alot of character to it. A good cleaning, some fenders, a motor and a cheapy paint job alone would make it look sweet. Those wheels alone are worth a few hundred.

To be clear... this is a GTA, right?
Fix the fender and you got yourself a real gem there. Without seeing more, it looks like there isn't a whole lot to do comestically outside of that.
Please keep us apprised of your progress!

thats a really nice find. I love that style trans am. Wish i could have found that deal lol great project man. Keep up updated. What are the plans for it?
fix some minor rust, replace the pass. side fender, fix a couple of small dings in the drivers fender, L98 swap, a repaint. I thought about putting 85-90 ground effects on it but keep the front end I'm not sure yet.

Looks like a good deal, congrats.
Post some pictures as you restore it. It would be nice to see the progress.

thats what I was gonna say. You can usually find aftermarket versions on ebay for fairly cheap.Originally Posted by iansane

nice find, I'd kill for a set of black leather seats like those!

I'll give you $600 for it. lol.
I would love to have that interior. Dirty or not, it's gorgeous. I want to get some leather strapped into mine, but right now I'm thinking about dropping some Corvette buckets in.

the seats are nice but the drivers seat looks like it has seen better days, you could always swap a set out of a 4th gen ta they look almost identical.Originally Posted by Tmic87TPI

That's a great deal! just the rims, tail lights, and spoiler together could easily bring in $500. It looks like a nice 84 T/A you have in the background there too :-)
The 84 belongs to a friend of mine. it a rust free Ohio car. The car is now in paint but being painted e cause it didn't turn out the right color.
