I got these rims for my GTA and for whatever reason it looks a little out of place on my car to me. I think it doesn't look right but I want some opinions on this, good, bad or whatever. I can sell them for what I paid for them so in a little confused? They are really good looking rims and I like them more then the TT2's on these cars.

Mike they look awesome I don't understand why you want to get rid of them already!

From what I can see--they look very good. Better then the gold GTA rim, IMO (flame suit on)
Best looking Foose rims I have seen. And I usually don't like aftermarket wheels.
Post some better pics that give a view of the whole car

Hey man, great looking car, but I agree. They look kinda out of place. Sinister's car is custom from paint to stripes to badges, so custom wheels, especially bright chrome of polished wheels just add to overall look. On YOUR car, it's pretty stock looking, and the nice bright chromies just draw too much attention. In my opinion, wheels should compliment the car, not draw the attention AWAY from the car.I got these rims for my GTA and for whatever reason it looks a little out of place on my car to me.
I've have an ultraclean stock looking bright red Iroc. I still have the stock wheels, and regularly get compliments for NOT going with the latest trend of big ole wheels.

do you have any full profile shots where we can see the whole car, stance, and how the wheels work. they do look pretty good from the angle you posted.

I think the crosslaces look better, but those arent bad.

They aren't bad looking, but I do agree that they look a little out of place. I'm a huge Foose fan though, so I'd just probably keep them on and take pride in having something Foose

there not bad looking, are those the nitro 2 series? if so, that is what I was contemplating on buying for my black iroc before I bought the boyds.
how about a nice side profile shot of the whole car, kind of like in my signature pic?

Keep 'em both. Switch them as you feel like.

My thoughts exactly. The factory crosslaces complimented the car much better. It still looks good, but the stock wheels better suit the car, IMO.Originally Posted by Abubaca

LMAO! the rims look good, but i think they might be too bright and shiny. get them dirty and dull and take some pics
Thanks for all the replies guys!! I think for now I'm going to keep them, had them sold yesterday but I declined. Don't get me wrong they are a nice looking rim and compliment a third gen very nicely but for whatever reason IMO the GTA needs a little gold in the rim to make it whole. I will post some picks of the full car later.

Sorry, not a fan at all. I think fooses wheel designs are rather ugly. Those look like smoothies, TTIIs, and the mustang bullitt style wheels and im tired of seeing all of them. Like the c5s, zr1s and z06 wheels, once its been done a thousand times its not impressive anymore.
sorry i dont mean to be so harsh, you car is VERY clean and nice though. Good job keeping a rare car alive.

By all means that's not harsh at all, its an honest opinion and I can respect that.Originally Posted by GodSpeedGTA

I do like the stock rims but its still too old school for me and that's why I picked these rims up because its one of the cleanest rims around IMO and picking an aftermarket rim for a GTA that looks good without a gold accent is hard to keep the flow of the car. I did not like it when I put them on, it didn't work for me but after the car settled a bit and I lowered the front end down 1/2" it looked allot better, one more 1/2" lower and I will be happy.

whoa those are really ncie rims how much where they?

Before I give my final opinion on the Foose's, could you get some more pics? Just need to see them at a different angle or more dead-on from the side, not looking down.

they look like keepers to me, I like the way they sit.

as long as they're not corvette rims, they're passable!

Think they look alright probably better in person but have to admit think I like my smoothies wheels more.

if the centers were a gray like these....http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku
and then the lip brushed instead of chrome..... but that just imo......

Too much chrome on those wheels. I'd sell those if your not completely comfortable with how they look and go for something as said before...more compliant with your car's look. If you like that design atleast get a set with the lip polished, those wheel spokes flow into the lip rather than setting the lip apart.

i think those would look better on a non-gfx car

I'm curious how they might stand out better with the center cap Gold Plated? Just the badge part not the whole center section. Could some one maybe pull off a Photoshop on that? Maybe use the second from the top shot from post #19?
