I wish i had the resources when I was 19 doing what you are doing. Its alot of work but its fun. I was too busy being a college kid and wish I spent my time and money elsewhere in something like this. ah well.. Keep up the good work. Looking good!

Re: Another Project Form..my 1987 GTA

I cant wait until I get it done but it will never be done. After high school, I was going to go to Wyotech somewere but couldnt leave my mom lol. Mommas boy i know, They were going to pay for me to go anywere I wanted to..anyway I unded up not going and just started working, I got a paint gun for my grad gift and she told me if I wasnt going to shcool, Id have to make this my money maker and learn on my own. Iv done a few cars nothing to brag about but after the cars done, my g/f has got me conviced to go back to school. Sometimes I wish I would have just left it alone and tryed not to blow it up but if it takes me a few years..it will be worth it..and Iv Learned SO much..

I have a thing for orange. We use the sunset orange effect on alot of our trucks. I like the atomic orange a little better. Has more of a bronze color to it. Some day this will be the color of my GTA. Sorry, I only have done a rifle in this color so far.

OFF TOPIC lol Is that a Savage? You must like long range shooting!! Love the stock..looks really nice. My dad has a Rem. 700, GA precision barrel(reverse twist I think), some crazy expensice stock, Nightforce scope..Recepts of over $5000. Got it from a sniper that was in Iraq. He had it built after he got out..needed money. Ill post a pic later..

Re: Another Project Form..my 1987 GTA

Well here is a pic of dads gun. The only long distance rifle I have is an FN PBR .308 24in barrel, Badger O 50BMG Rings and a cheap millet scope..I use it for deer hunting, long distance..its my all around toy, but most of my guns are military guns. WW2 German and US stuff..thats what i like to shoot..

Back to the car..Got the BMR K-member and A arms and had to send the kmember back..no motor mounts WTF..but It looked cool. Should have the new one this week or next. No new pictures..the doors should be on this week..had to spend $200 for door pins..FUN. Then I can spray the damn thing again

Re: Another Project Form..my 1987 GTA

Well..Im geting another car this week..My dad got a little bit of money from geting hurt, and told me that he would get me a new truck or something. I told him no that was too much money and I couldnt afford that and finish my car. I told him if I was going to make payments to him that I wanted another fast car. I found a 2000 Firehawk that Iv wanted for 2 years and couldnt come up with the cash..Well Thursday..4/9/09 it will be in the driveway..Little over 500 ponys..6 speed..black..take a look! Shes nasty! So the GTA Is on hold for a little while..Got an ich its getting nice outside and its been 2 years since Iv drove anything halfway fast!!!

Re: Another Project Form..my 1987 GTA

That is a sweet Hawk, I got a 98 Trans Am as of 10/26/08, (my 86 TA project got put on hold too), and let me tell you it friggen flys, I have never driven anything faster....I know Im lame.....I have to get some new rear tires because everytime I lay on it the dam things spin like crazy because of the torque.

Any way have fun with that thing tomorrow, it looks like a beast. I'll post some pics up but its kinda multi colored at the moment
