Back on Black

I had to do it. For a while my car had the look that I was going for. Then, I swapped out the ROH Snypers that I had painted the centers black for a set of gold crosslace wheels. The gold was OK, but it made the car look more elegant and not as menacing as it did with the black wheels. So, today I did what I had to do....I had to put it back on black wheels.

What do yall think? Was it the right decision?

Re: Back on Black

After looking at the car this morning in the light, I'm really glad I did it.

I'm torn on keeping the stock black center caps or upgrading to the polished ones.

Re: Back on Black

I agree, black is the way to go against the red. I had them that way on my '87 LT1 GTA a few years ago.

Re: Back on Black

If you're torn on which color wheels you like the best, put the gold ones on one side and the black on the other side.

May sound retarded but remember that you can only see one side of the car at a time.

I got the idea from a buddy of mine that did it to is Nissan 350Z. I would do it but I'm probably just going to polish my rims.

Re: Back on Black

MUCH better with the black, IMO. I personally like gold wheels on some black cars, but that's about it. I think you made an excellent decision!

I traded them for the wheels I have now. They currently reside under a white 87 GTA.
