91 bird
91 bird
Just got this car about a month or so ago, finally got it into the garage. Don't know much about it other then what the seller told me.. 91 firebird was a v6 car but swapped to 305...
anyhow here are some pics...
Sorry if they are really huge camera takes them at 3648x2736!

Some questions about the car too.
Are they correct taillights for the 91?
Also here is a photo of the kind of rims on the car, are they the factory rims for the car or off another trans am/gta etc.

Any info on this car would be such a wonderful help!

Re: 91 bird
the tails are from a 85-90 trans am/gta, not correct for the car or year. Trans am/gta tail for the 91-92 were the 2 piece lights and are much more rare and expensive. Hard to find in good shape. Baser firebird and formula lights are the same for all years 85-92 and maybe earlier, and would be the right lights for that car.
like this

wheels are trans am/gta wheels again, 88-92 style. Gold generally is for the gta's. The back of the wheels will have a casting date.

Re: 91 bird
i only see 1 fuel line, should be a second, probably capped off. That can kill the fuel pump, should have the return line hooked up. Also, i dont see a pressure regulator, unless if buried somewhere. Thats needed since the v6 pump puts out more pressure than that carb wants.

Thanks for the info on the tail lights and rims, i will look for a casting date.
I don't know about the fuel line or a regulator, I bought the car, drove it a whole 2miles home and parked it.. ha
Here is another photo, this might help ya decide about the fuel issue. It is disgusting imo...

Ya... sucks!
