VA vs MD
VA vs MD
I might be buying a car from VA and was wondering how VA inspection compares to MD inspection. If it has passed VA inspection, will is most likely pass MD inspection?
Thanks,

i have seen some good deals from VA however, i think its a tad harder to bring the car into MD.. not too sure on the inspection differences but i would think its a good chance if it passed VA it should pass MD inspection..

All depends on who in VA did the inspection. A "by the book" inspection is strict and would stand up to about any state's safety inspection. One big thing some states do that Va doesn't....check the VIN's . You need to check all the VIN's yourself and be sure they match (i.e. eng, chassis, body) There have been cases of stolen vehicles being pieced together and sold at auctions brought to Va and passed off to the buyer.
