This is my first post on this board and I live in Snarlington, VA. I think the 3rd gen Camaro is the best looking body style of any car ever built. It is hard to describe, some people like Mercedes, BMW, etc. To me, the 3rd gen looks the meanest. I bought it 3 years ago and only drive on the weekend, take Metro to work. I haven't heard much about the Mid-Atlantic Camaro club but would like to run around with some others who have the same fire in their veins for their Camaro. I was in Maryland a few times last year and one particular day saw about 4 other 3rd gen's. I would like to go to Carlysle but might be involved in buying a house here in the next few weeks, settlement is supposed to be the end of June.
Later.
Later.

Theres plenty of thirdgen's in MD. There are some of the fastest street thirdgens on the east coast in MD, take for example Trax or me, and some of the cleanest looking like 1991-Z28.

Anyone in the Winchester area? I'm from Strasburg, 15 miles south of Winchester, and about 45 minutes North of Harrisonburg. Shoot me a PM guys, some of us NOVA guys should meet up sometime. (Preferably after I get my Camaro to pass inspection,

Thats cool, I got custom exhaust work done in stafford, btw nothing wrong with that as far as ur car man, I'm in the same boat as you
Its a Burger king /Mcdonald parking lot Right off of Route-28 by the 234- interchange where cars go to usually meet from Muscle cars, exotics, trucks, tuners, & bikes go to and just hang out and show thier rides. I go their usually Fri & Sat with my friends, but sometimes I wish I would see more 3rdgen in my area.

Re: Anyone live in Northern VA
I'm not in Virginia but I'm in Martinsburg WV not far from Winchester or Hagerstown. I'm also a member of the Eastern Panhandle Camaro Association. We are having a GTG in Martinsburg this Sat Jan 26th at Buffalo Wild Wings at 1pm. Everyone is invited. You can check in at the Forum http://epca.freeforums.org/index.php under "Meets". I see a lot of members are in the Fredicksburg area. I go to a lot of car shows in the Eastern WV panhandle area and it would be great to see some new rides in the area this summer. I'll post a couple of links to car show sites. It's a great way to meet other car nuts.

I'm in Maurertown, VA. Just south of Strasburg and North of Woodstock. I've got 4 project 3rd gens all in various states of repair. It's good to see there are others out there.
Re: Anyone live in Northern VA
Hey Tpiselli, I was just going through Maurertown today. I see the demolition derby is in full swing from the number of cars sitting outside that little shop. I deliver all throughout the Shenandoah Valley. We'd love to have you visit our forum at www.easternpanhandlecamaro.com

Re: Anyone live in Northern VA
Another noob in Stafford... just picked up an '87 IROC 305/quadrajunk/auto... needs everything except for sheet metal... lol
It's a mess right now, but in line for some TLC... but may be awhile. Looks like the 700R4 is about toast.
