We meet at the Friendly's, right off of 140 and 97. I finally made it to last weeks meeting, and I'm trying to find a way to make to the track next week, but you might want to get more info from DJPHONIX.

 

i would be comming from 695 to 795 then jumping on 140 ... how far down is 97 ??? eta from like owings mills mall

if its not raining out tomorrow i will ride over

 

Not overly familar with the area, but from where 795 ends, I believe it's somewhere between 10-15 miles, but don't hold me to that. I work at BG&E near security mall and make that trip every other week, and I know that trip isn't too bad, or very long.

 

I drove down to check you guys out and didnt see a soul

1 4th gen in parking lot and a formula but he rolled out at like 1:10 i hung around a while and then had to go

 

i couldnt make it out this past sunday, but ill be there next sunday. will it be at the same location

 

dont ride there unless there is a definate turn out... it was a great ride with the tops off but not when there is no one there

 

man i really wanted to go to... i had to work sunday for the first time in five or sixy ears.. sorry noone was there but it is nice up there i go there frequently for work,then again i drive all over this darn place .... tryin to chase a dollarwell maybe this coming sunday will be different.. my car looks like crap right now till its painted but i need to meet up with some people who share the fbody addiction

i was in Westminster yesterday, 8/29/04, from about 12:45pm-1:30pm and saw no other thirdgen f-bodies in the Friendley's/Shopper's parking lot, except for a white '88-90 iroc, where the f**k was everyone else?

 

if any one wants to pick a place to meet let me know. i was there 2 weeks ago and the same thing happened to me. so like i said if anyone around towson parkville dundalk ect. want to hang out one day and get something started club wise im in

 

Wow a Baltimore Thirdgen club, i didn't realize there were that many thirdgens in the baltimore area. I need to keep on top of things here.

that sounds cool i cant never seem to catch any local shows anymore.. wel after i get my iroc straitened out id like to start hittin some shows..... hopefully one day ill get the car good enough to enter one

 

yea after the new paint get the car out there a little . thats how i scored on most of my parts for the interior color change ect. plus its cool to see the older and younger ppl asking stuff about your ride

i dont know how many if any third gens will be here today but i will be there for sure so come if you can

 

hey paul how was the show? i couldnt make it out i didnt get back from oc till today.... was there alot of ppl there? ant thirdgens?

 

show was good no third gen's at all a few 2nd gens and 1 4th gen was there about 150 cars this year i took pics of them all

there was another show the same day that alot of the ppl went to instead so thats why a low turnout.

didn't win this year but all and all was a good day to hang out and talk to people about your ride

 

sounds like you had a good time.. i cant wait to get this car finished painting. it is a last minute rush tho but it will be worthit

 

To elaborate on what is happening with this club. Being that I am one of the co-founders of it. We are in the beginning stages of trying to organize and get something going. Granted I don't quite think we have 42 cars as of yet, unless you count all the f-body's individual owners have (3 myself). Anyhow I have been left to be in charge of the club and attempting to get things rolling has been rather rough. The time frame for the meetings to start has been an issue as well as the location were to meet. We have been meeting for several months sometime between 1-2pm. Granted several members attend church on sunday on a regular basis and are unable to make it till a later time, thus 2pm. It has been working out at a 2pm meeting time. The location problem really isn't a problem it just a matter of what everybody is in the mood to eat. Though trying to stay in the area and having people figure out were it is we are eating at is a problem. I am attempting to remidy this situation, by having us hang outside in the parking lot with our cars for about 15min. and then possibly if necessary leave a not on the car and let everyone know were we are. Granted these could be easily done by parking near the restuarant we are going in, but to get a more club feel and to attempt at drawing more possible peoples attention. I am hoping to have everyone park together in the shoppers parking lot closest to the friendly's as possible. If anyone has any possible suggestions or club starting advise or interested in contacting me my e-mail is frederzick@verizon.net or frederzick@msn.com I'm attempting to get a home page made up with my brother-in-law's help. Those of us who do meet up have been attempting to make plans at doing more than just meeting up on sunday at 2pm. We'd like to expand our horizons, due some car cruisin's, have cook outs at the local parks, have track days, make it to the local car shows as a club, etc...
