Why don't you guys wave back on the street. Most third gen firebird owners look at me like I am retarded when I wave to them. Frankly I think I am just gonna stop waving.....I get morefriendly waves from 5.0 mustangs.

5.0 owners can be nice guys.... atleast around here. 4th Gen owners seem to be the same problem, but then again theres just so many V6 owners and non-car fanatic owners I guess thats why.

Lets not get into corvette owners. They look at us like were crap but look how many of us have vettes or other rare extrodinary cars.

Bad thing is, when I'm driving my Expedition and checking out all the f-body cars, I know they think I'm checking out the drivers, lol. Once in a while I'll get to pull up next to one of them and when I do I tell them about all the clubs, forums, boards, etc. and try to get them interested in joining us. One of these days I'm getting a card or something made up with all the board info on it.

Ive only ever waved at 1 third gen owner and the other guy waved at me first. Most people dont think of third gens as nice cars...there junk around town...no one even pays attention.

Ive got waved at by some 5.0 drivers no one else. I talked to a guy in a new z06 complimenting his car...he didnt even look to see what kinda car i was in, they simply dont care and look down on us lol.

lol, nice. i always talk to third gen owners...if they look youngish. one kids mom at my school drives a black 91 formy...she doesnt know what the hell it is, and isnt a enthusiast at all, just thought it looked sporty.
