Axle/Gears: 4th gen 3.23 posi/LS1 discs, stock
Stevo and I got the 700R4 out Sat. Not to bad for 2 guys with hand tools and the car on jackstands. Now for the install, hope that goes as smoothly.

have fun bench pressing the trans. btw i suggest u put the clutch and bell on the motor before you try to get the trans up there.

I think a floor jack will beat bench pressing the tranny. I know the clutch is already on, Stevo did his research, but thanks for the tips anyways.

No, not going good, a guy bailed who was gonna help. I dont have the right tools i need and everytime i start working on the damn car something goes wrong. Dont know whats up now, maybe taking off work wednesday to try and get it done...i dont know what to do at this point.

I am about to do the same thing. What is the deal with how the hydro goes on - is the a U bolt i need to get? What do you need to do with the pedals to get the 4th gen pedals installed? thanks

Holy resurrected post Batman!!

You need to drill a hole for the master cylinder and two holes for the bolts. You can use a factory u-bolt or you can use two regular 3/8 bolts. Be sure to use lock washers and it's not a bad idea to use a little blue loctite. Mock up the pedals, mark the holes, remove the pedals, drill the holes then install them permanently.
