Selling 89 385 HSR Formula
I've lost interest in the car.
It was a white 1989 White Firebird Formula. 385 cubic inches. Hyper internals, forged crank, HSR, SVO 30lbs injectors, Accel 58mm TB, Hedman 1 5/8 Longtube headers, 3" Magnaflow catback, dual cats (had the cats flanged for easy removal heheh), XR276HR cam 224/230 duration, 323 10 bolt 323 rear end, disc brakes all around, Edelbrock Torque Arm, Lakewood LCA, Performabuilt Level 2 transmission with 9.5" 3400 stall (only ran the car 4 times with that transmission and converter and boy did it make a difference!).
The car ran 12.4x at 108mph IIRC. It has the ability for more but I just done have the drive (pardon the pun haha) to keep tinkering with it anymore.
It has 16x8 Formula wheels all around and 16x8 Iroc wheels for the back when I went to the track with a set of MT ET Streets that served me well. I also bought a Megashifter with a console modified for it to fit a while back but never installed. I also have a set of Motive 373 gears and LCARBS that I never installed either.
My loss is your gain. The car is pretty quick, but I am in the military and I am stationed in Japan for a few years. The car deserves to be driven and not sitting in a garage and only coming out once or twice every 6 months to go to the track and get put back in storage. It kills me to let my car go (my first car too
), but I gotta do it.
Asking $4000 for everything.

Re: Selling 89 385 HSR Formula
I have seen and heard this car in person and it runs great. Straight and to the point. It makes for a pretty quick sleeper too. Good luck with the sale man, i'm parting out a lot of my car also right now. Giving the tinkering a break for awhile...
