My 9 bolt isn't limiting slip anymore, so I'm looking into having it rebuilt. The cones probably need to be shimmed, but this isn't something I have any interest in tackling myself. Can anyone reccomend a good shop to have this done? Prefferably somewhere that has experince with a 9 bolt. Or if someone local has rebuilt their rear themselves and would be willing to help me out, that would be awesome too.

my buddy just rebuilt my 9 bolt with new gears, bearings, and posi cones. He's near Lynchburg, va. I provided all the parts that I bought off of 9bolt.com I'm sure he would do yours too if you could deliver it down to him.

Did you try "The Custom Shop" on Rt.40 in Aberdeen? I think they do mainly 4X4 stuff.

I dont know if they have experience with the 9 bolt, but its worth a shot.
