this blizzard
So I looked out front today and there is a GTA made out of snow on top of my GTA. Sitting comfortably underneath a cover right now. How many of you out there are ballsy enough to drive yours in this crap?

Re: this blizzard
When I had my first 3rd Gen I was forced to drive her in that crap due to the doors being frozen shut on the other car... The Z was in a nice warm garage but had to get mom to work... I got a couple buddies to ride along for the extra weight and was going along just fine until we were going up a hill and she down shifted - spun us right around and into a ditch! No damage was done to the car but it scared the crap out of poor old mom!
Got towed out a few hours later and drove her straight home - called mom a cab and put the Z back in the garage for the rest of the winter!

Re: this blizzard
I had a friend that tried to go to work in his '86 Z28 in a snowstorm once. It took him an hour to more four houses up the street, and another hour to get the car back down the street and into the driveway again. I won't ever try to drive the GTA in this hah. I'm buyin me a K5... when I can afford one.

Re: this blizzard
well the snow storms are over and hopefully we get nice weather the rest of the season, its been beautiful here in Beltsville the past few days,
but my story is about last year, when my RS was a true daily driver, we had about an inch and a half of snow on the roads here in PG county and our snow plowers/salt throwers suck majorly(they park on the side of the road and drink most of the day), anyways, i was on my way to work(literally 3 minutes from my house) took me an hour to get out of the neighborhood which is one street away, got going pretty good after that till i hit a hill, it took me 3 hours to get to the top and around the bend to my work, when i walked in my boss just laughed and said buy a Honda and put that camaro in a garage for the winter lol(but i didnt buy a honda, my wife got her cobalt lol)
