i got a ? for ya ..... i have a 350 block in my yard and going by the numbers it came from a camaro. did thay put a 350 in a 86 f body???

 

No. always rumored, but they never sold a 350 to the public in a thirdgen til 87.

 

i heard that thay made like 8 of them for testing but ran into trouble with fule boiling .... here are the nombers .... frount tab is VO621 LKT .... pad over the filter is CPF356123 .... CASTING #14093638. casting # is the same as all 5.7 blocks from the mid 80s till forever but the # over the filter comes back to a 86 camaro (acording to a freind that works at the DMV) BUT I THINK SOMEONE HERE MITE KNOW FOR SURE .... tnx

 

You heard wrong. They made 50 for internal testing and scrapped every last one of them. Nothing at all to do with fuel boiling, if it boiled on a 350 it would have been boiling for years in the 305s.
