Buying Woes

So after four months of browsing every classified I could get my hands on, I finally found THE car. Black and gold, looked to be in excellent condition but not running. Saw the ad about 12 or 13 hours after it was posted. Contacted the seller immediately and made arrangements to see the car the very next day (working 12+ hour night shifts is somewhat inconvenient for normal people *shakes fist at the sky*). They texted a few hours later to inform me it sold. I don't think they knew what they had, some lucky person practically stole this car for the advertised price. Was listed as a V6.... I recognized it was a Recaro edition. Checked the VIN and sure enough confirmed it was a V8 Trans Am. Sigh! I think I will go cry inconsolably now... Back to searching! Anyone know of any decent cars for sale? Would consider a second, third or fourth Gen if it is the right car. Seeking a small project that is within my abilities.
