Haven't been seeing as many Michiganders lately on this site. I'm from St. Clair Shores and have been looking for some 3rd Gen cruisers. Trying to find out where they hang out.

Went to the car show at Gibraltar this weekend and saw only one other 3rd Gen. Bunch of darn mustangs, but no/not many Camaros, so I just left my '87 vert in the parking lot.

 

Hey, I'm still here. I just live in Livonia and don't get much word of anything. If someone would post some info about shows ahead of time, I would be there in a heartbeat.

still here and kicking...........i too have lost alot of hope mike, but you have to remember that it is summer so there are alot of things going on......

i had planned on gibralter but it was rained out.........as well as almost every other damn event this summer. but enough about that, for those of you looking to get together i'm trying to get one last get together before the end of summer so let me know!

 

Well Jeff, yes we do need to get together, but not until after next week sometime. I blew my !@#$%^ trans out on Woodward friday nite. Greg and I were messing around from light to light and i lost 2nd gear....so I drove it home going from 1-3 then noticed at higher speeds that theres no 4th either

Well, I got an older 700 to throw in there for now, but my high stall TC won't work with it. We should have it up and running this week, just waiting for an open hoist at Gary's.

 

I'm from St. Clair Shores and I have also not seen too many people from the MOTOR CITY! I have been restoring my 86 camaro for almost a year now and I will have it back from the paintshop this week. Anyone from around here will see it on the streets because it's paint job is one of a kind (well, one other guy had it done but that car isn't around anymore). It's dark blue with white stripes. Yeah, Gibraltar isn't that great to me. I like the Friday nights at Continental Lanes on 13 & Gratiot and also Tuesday nights at Pampa Lanes on 14 & 1/2 & Van Dyke. Well, hope to see more from Detroit around here!

 

good luck over there as those too spots are boycotted by not only myself and just about every other f-body enthusiast, but anyone else who drives anything remotely "new".

spots are running low with the ever increasing population of police on gratiot and now woodward as well as no real weekly shows there isn't much hope left.


now if only someone would take the initiative to start up a new "spot" that would allow just about anyone as well as provide a safe and fun environment for everyone i think we would have a good time........until then your stuck looking at midly moded 42 fords and the same rockn to the oldies cds you here at every show.


mike, just when you get something fixed you go and break something else......what's next?

Just taking a break from polishing Jeffs GP wheels. Mike and Jeff and everyone else are you going to be at the Woodward lot? We need a strong third gen showing. There are still spots left. The lot is at 13 1/2 on the north west corner. $65.00 a spot and it is a great location. Alot of places to eat all within walking distance. Monday night from 8:00PM to 10:00PM Brian will be there collecting money and assigning spots. Hope to see you all at the Woodward Dream Cruise. I am taking both my F/Bodys

 

i live in trenton mi...... i dont see many 3rd gens around... just a bunch of g@y 5.0's and rustangs and lil rice burners..... i would like to find more real muscle cars around here..... im sick of everyone in my school goin like dude u wanna race my honda..... the next time some1 says that i might just deck them..... idiots..... they will always be there :lala:

 

i'm going to try and make it out to woodward everynight until the day as long as weather permits........chris and i will both be at the lot listed above; but we can always use some more guys.

check with the listing mike gave as there isn't a whole lot of mi representation in here..........for those willing to make the haul woodward will be a great time!!
