Just wondering if anyone in the Milwaukee area who is a TPI expert or just has alot of experience would be willing to help troubleshoot my setup. I swapped a TPI setup from a 87' Trans Am to my 87' Monte and its running, but a little rough. Wiring is all good, just some idle issues and TPI stuff. Using the stock ECM and all sensors, etc....Ive learned alot but know there are some *experts* out there!

Its a MAF setup. The distributor Im pretty sure is in correctly...the timing is about 8 degrees advanced, wires are correct as well.

Tommorow I plan to set the IAC valve and check the TPS....no codes either since I finished hooking the vac lines up, I did have code 32(EGR) a couple times before that.

Ill give it a try tommorow as well. I guess no TPS code is good, but I read they are adjustable though and heard if bad they might not throw a code, like MAF's.

Well the car doesnt run any better with the MAF disconnected. I also got a new TPS for the heck of it, and took out the IAC valve and took it apart, cleaned it and set it per the directions. Still runs the same like poop.

The only problems I know of is one valve is tapping on the drivers side and the A/C pressure switch is disconnected which lets the primary fan run constantly. Not sure if that would effect anything, but they need to be addressed.

I actually took the car around the block today for the first time and it sounded like it was deiseling at idle in gear but was hard to hear with the windows up and exhaust.
