Well the time has come too soon. I have a BIG BLOCK now ready to be constructed. I must let the 383 go so here it is. I am posting it here because this is my local board and shipping is XPENSIVE. 45 miles total on build.
3970010 4-bolt main block H/T M/F bore 30 oil gallery polished to glass and releaved
Fully ballanced stroker crank
5.7 PINK rods weighed to w/in 1 gm
13.77 JE pistons
Ported polished heads w/3 angled v/j 2.02 valves Crane 1.5 roller rockers
Edelbrock Performer RPM intake
Edelbrock 750 1407 carb
Pete Jackson noisey gear drive
NHRA TOP FUEL BURNOUTS IN THE WATERBOX FREE

Yes it is spotless and all Felpro/Clevite77 and can be in the back of your truck going to your garage in less than 2 hours. Come look at it and take it home

354434 casting number GM heads. I ordered the pistons to fit those perfectly domed

45 Miles??? I can see by the discription this is a drag only motor....what times did you pull with it?

Why you selling it??

nah, you can tell by the pistons that it's a drag only motor, you can also tell by the rest that he spent almost his whole budget on the pistons When i saw the CR i was expecting a nice set of h-beams and AFR's

Never seen the strip. Dropped it in my old 62 SS Impala was driving it around to break it in and a guy pulled me over and just had to have the car. I heard the right price and it sold without the motor. Motor was never going to stay in there anyway. Camaro wasnt ready for the BEAST yet. It is currently in the Camaro now but has never been ran in it.
As far as reason for sellin it. I have a 402 BIG BLOCK out of a 70 Chevelle SS that is Screaming at me to build it. Im thinkin Wieand 8-71 with dual Demons and a tub job. Im still a sucker for massive gummy asphalt crayons.
