storage questions

when is everyone plan ongettign there car out of storage if you put it in? any special things ishould do for when i get it out?

its more important to do things before you store, like gas treatment, disconnect battery, change oil, stuff like that,


I supposed if you haven't done any of that, you should when you get it out

P.S. I start mine one every two weeks, and let it run for 5 minutes, its best to drive around and get up to operating temps, but roads weren't very clear around here

I just make sure the gas tank is full and there is gas stablelizer in the tank before I store the car. I usually have to charge the battery before i start it, but I don't bother disconnecting it.

I started and drove mine last weekend, the weather was nice, after it had been sitting since november, no problems.

yeah i got my car out on thursday, found out i have to get a new rear main seal but when i got it out it ran good all i did was just put in some new gas any thing else i should do ?

I usually change the oil, even if there aren't many miles on the oil it's still been in the motor for six months.
