What's it worth???

Hi,
I am new to this board, but not to the hotrod scene. I have built several Chevy hotrods, including a `77 Nova with a TPI 350 that my 17 year old son drives daily.

In my travels as a service tech, I recently came across a `92 Camaro RS 25th Anniversary Edition with 12,000 miles. Yes, 12,000 miles! An older lady purchased it after her husband died, drove it occasionally, then parked it. The only thing that is not original on this car is the oil and filter! The car has been stored inside and with a little detail work, would be showroom condition. The exterior is purple and the interior is gray. 305 TBI, automatic, tilt, cruise, air, etc.

Any thoughts?????

Thanks in advance,

John

Its worth whatever the person is willing to pay for it...If *I* had a 25th RS with 12k miles, I wouldn't sell it for less than 12-13 grand...but thats juts me.

Too bad it's not a Z. That would be worth big money.

Kind of hard to determine whether or not it is worth it without knowing a price to work around. Did she say "make an offer?"

She told me to "make an offer". I'm not sure if I could get it for $5000 or not. She won't give me any idea of what she wants for it. I really don't WANT the car for anything more than to resell. I'm just trying to find out the value before I make an offer...

I would pay $7,500 or so for that car. It's a great car, but not quite old enough to warrant big cash.
