Private track rental at MAM 9/25/04

Once again, I am hosting an open lapping day at www.midamericamotorplex.com

We will have two run groups, $100/day. Those of you that ran last time can chime in if you think it was a good time.

Here is a little clip from last time in the "fast" group:
MAM

Here are some details:
MAM event info

Oh yeah, the date is Saturday September 25. Hope you can make it out.

Cool!

Going to make this a sticky so it gets more viewing.

bbunting: How far (long a drive) from Dubuque would you estimate MAM is?

DQE to Counil Blufffs is about 4.5 hours. We usually caravan from Cedar Rapids-takes about 4 hours easy, 3.5 if I get bored.

You can bing anything that can safely negotiate the track. The track does not allow trucks, SUV's, etc.

We have Corvettes to WRX's to Miatas on the list so far. There is one WS6 TA coming also.

Anyone else interested in running some laps? Once you do it, you will never be the same. I have never had someone say they didn't have a good time yet!

OK-

Slow down people. We will have to take names one at a time.

I know $100 is some big $$-but, you will run enough laps to empty your gas tank, won't sit around for three hours to run, and get to hit top speed every lap, pass some ricers,

You get the idea.
