1986 IROC-Z FS in Central Illinois

1986 IROC-Z

136,xxx Miles Last 10-20,000 mostly highway miles from Indy to home every weekend. 200 miles one way so 400 a weekend every weekend for about a year, actually less than a year. I stopped driving the car all the time in like June or July. Plus normal driving to school and around which was not much.

Black with Gray cloth interior

Hooker Cat back

Gutted Cat

T-Tops

5.0 305 TPI with 160* thermostat

K&N air filter

Automatic Trans = New Jaspper Trans replaced just after 100,000 miles

Has leaking Pinion seal and Passenger Axel seal. I have both seals just not installed.

New MAF

New Oil PSI sending unit.

Newer Alternator

Fuel Pump has been replaced

MAF relay, MAF burn off relay, and Fuel pump relays all replaced.

New battery

Tires have plenty off tread left. Good Year Eagle GT-II 245/50R16

Split rear seat

Comes with all wiring in place for subs

Will come with newer Pioneer CD player uninstalled

May come with Dual 12" sub box to fit well, if friend doesnt want

Front bumper and passenger fender have been repainted, all other is original

Paint is still fairly glossy when clean for being 20 years old and original

Put newer clear turn signal housings in

Missing one center cap on IROC rim

Has right rear quarter panel damge. Went into a ditch like 2 years ago now. I have pictures. Car drove straight right afterwards. The incident bent an axel which was replaced right afterward, since it was the DD. Car drove straight and had no problems except the body damage. Damage is on the lower half of the quarter below the center line. This also broke the Hatch shade which I beleive to be on its way out before this incident.

Hooker system was put on after the ditch

The car has been sitting for a while now probably a year now, as I have been driving our s-10. I have not started it in a while but it should run just fine. Oil was changed around the first of the year which was the last time I drove it. Probably more towards the middle or end of January. I have driven it a few times since then and it still gets up and goes like its brand new. Pictures are in my sig at the Cardomain site.

I have all original parts that I have taken off. I have a 190* thermostat to go back to stock that I never did.

I bought the car at the end of my Junior year which was in '03 for $3,500 with 94,xxx miles on it in damn near mint condition.

Asking $1,200 or best offer. I have an Alpine Head Unit and 2 12" Memphis Power Bass Subs rated at 400 watt max RMS each, in the box above, with a Memphis 400 Watt amp that I will let go with the car only for $1,500. HU was $400 new, Subs were like $250 new, box was $160, and the amp was $300 I think. Prefeer Pick up only.

I trust you guys on here to let me know if what I am asking for is to high for the condition. I have tried to tell as much about the car as I can and the condition it is in. The paint is still very glossy when it is clean and the last time I drove the car it ran good. The T-Tops do leak with a good amount of pressure of water shooting at it.

No the car is all stock except the Hooker Cat back. The 160* thermo was on the car when I bought it, and I put in the K&N filters.

New Pictures!

I hooked up the battery and it fired right up on the first crank! For sitting a while thats not to bad. I did notice when washing that it leaks a bit at the window corners where the t-top seals meet the door seals. Not bad just a few drips. And the car is still pretty dirty in those pics. I didnt do to good of a wash job apparently once I got it in the sun. lol
