I posted this once but I posted in the wrong region..LOL Now that I have my bearings straight!!
Hey all My name is Jeff I am the Proud Parent Of A US Marine Who Is Currently Deployed To Iraq.. It's kinda funny how I ended up here.. My son bought a 2006 Mustang GT while he has been deployed and I have been working on it making it a street beast (He calls it his War Pony).. While I was working on his car it Re-ignited the Muscle Car Guy in me, So I started looking for a Project Car that I could work on. Well I'm not really a Mustang or for that matter a Ford Guy, So I ran across a 1987 Camaro Z-28($450) that had been sitting for 2 1/2 years and didn't run, The body is in decent shape it needs some floor board work and some rear quarters but no big deal, the interior is all there and has no rips in the seats and 1 small spot on dash that can be repaired, To get the car running it needed a fuel pump and lines and new brake lines, I tuned it up changed all the fluids put new gas in it and it fired right up and runs extremely well.
Just wanted to introduce myself looking forward to talking with other Z-28 owners!!!
Peace
Jeff T.
