Michigan Third Gen Owners
Hey guys I am looking for some help here from other local Michigan third gen owners. I am located just north of Detroit in the burbs and I am starting to make some plans for my 1992 RS camaro. The first thing I want done is some body work and paint, I was wondering if any of you knew some good shops that you could recomend for me to get some work done. In or around the metro Detroit area. Also some good performance shops to purchase aftermarket parts and even some places that will install them. I just recently bought my thirdgen so a lot of this is new to me. I do most of the work on my cars myself but there are certain things I can not do (yes I'll admit it). So any help is appriciated, also where are all the thirdgens in MICHIGAN?

I cant recommend a body shop but I can tell you that there is a guy who owns a shop in Waterford called CARS. He tuned my 91 z28 and it ran great. That was with the TPI. I had a custom trans done by Snappys in Warren. Check out mifbody.com.

My cousin owns a collision shop - not sure what extent of body work/paint you need done, but his shop did a great job on my car the 2 times they painted it. The name of the shop is called Troy Collision in Troy - over off of Rankin Road and Rochester Road (roughly around 15 mile road).

Hey what did a custom tranny cost you at Snappys? Also what kind of trans was it?

Ridez is on Dequindre, at eight and a half I think. Owner is a guy named Ron Farmer. He knows his stuff and if he doesn't have it he will get it for you.
