Iowa Highway race
Iowa Highway race
So on the interstate I-35 the other day comeing back from Des Moines a Black Honda pulled next to me. Not to be racist or anything. But the driver was an Asian and had his little son with him. So i was wondering what hes doing then all the sudden he took off, i was like oh...... i get it. Then caught up to him going about 115 going next to him and then passed him. he passed back and was probably going 128? so i went after him again and passed him doing around 140ish. didnt see the honda after that
Guess i disappointed him in front of his son

Way to be irresponsible , the guy had a lil kid in the car… next time use ur head, I’m not saying you initiated this, but u still enticed him after u sped up… a crash at tho’s speeds would have been fatal for you both…

Maybe its time you stop making fun of tho’s immature r!cers, because at the moment your acting like one your self… do you really think it would be cool and funny to lose your license for 90 days just because some moron pulled up next to you and wanted to race? Let alone the massive ticket you would get… granted if I cop pulled you over at tho’s speeds and saw that you were racing another person, the ticket would be worth more then your car…

You can't blame 3rdGenIrocZ for the actions of the idiot in the rice burner. Grant it, no-one should have been going that fast. But you shouldn't down his actions because the other idiot had a kid in the car and wanted to play. Many many years ago when I was young and stupid, I lost my license for going 110 over the speed limit. I paid dearly, after the court fines, impound fees, driving classes, higher insurance rates, almost $12,000 later and no car to drive for 1 1/2 years. It was my fault and only my fault. I got caught only because I ran out of gas after trying to outrun the Sherriff, but I will never blame anyone else. It was dumb and I learned the hard way. Luckily I never went to jail! Drag racing is dangerous and should be only in controlled conditions.

wow burnout chill out. i lost my license for a year and was on driving probation for a year after that and if i got caught speeding in that time i would lose my license again. And were do u get off saying a ticket will cost more then my car. i have had 2 ticket. one for 90 and cause the speedo was wrong($5 says your gonna say thats b.s) and then the 2nd for the reason i lost my license. hmm 1st was $98, second was $375. Hmm got my car for $1600 or $1500 cause it was online for that and the place dindt change the price yet so we got it when it was $3,200 at the dealer ship. Hmmm those tickets sure cost more then my car. . .
And i invest about $4,000 in the car.
And second off, what the Heck, do u think i dont got a brain or something? i dont F-ing speed all the time. trust me i learned my lesson. So are you saying that i lost my license i should be a good little boy and obey the limit everyday for the rest of my life? jesus wheres the fun in that, specially when i dont even speed that much!
ibmtech Thanks for defending me. and i know how it feels loseing a license lol

Re: Iowa Highway race
Well speeding is one thing, but illegal street racing puts you in a hole different boat… you have to realize that, that 375 dollar ticket would have turned into 10 times that amount had the police officer realized you were street racing… along with the sr22 insurance you would have to pay, court fee’s, and driving classes… you would be down about 5-10 grand if not more…
You can speed all want but when you help to put a Childs life in danger that’s just wrong… you can say what you want but you enticed that Honda driver after you speed up when he past you the frist time… which in my eyes put you at partial fault had anything happened. what you should have done was slow down get his license plant number and reported him to child services…

OK I kinda get it now. Putting a childs life in danger is wrong only if you are road racing.. You can't just get a plate number and call Social Services and report them. It just doesn't work that way. If you have taken any defensive driving you would have learned that you should not let others control the actions for your vehicle. Plain and simple the guy in the honda was wrong no matter how you look at it. He should have used better judgement because of the child in the car. 3rdGenIrocZ didn't put a gun to the idiots head and force him to race him.
