There are a ton of junk yards in Des Moines. I don't know if any of them are particularly good for our cars, though. Your best bet is to give them a call to see if they have what you're looking for.

Have had mixed luck with Iowa scrap yards. Seems one day they've got everything you need and the next they've got nothin you want. Jerry Carney and sons in Ames is good for pulling it yourself and cheapness

You can search every junkyard good enough to have an inventory. I have a 74 Nova project and I never thought I would be able to find anything in a junkyard but I was amazed how much stuff this site found.
