Likewise, open note to our Illinois neighbors interested in going - I've heard interest on three sites that I have posted on from people in Illinois interested in making the drive over. If you are and would like to caravan with others in your area, please let me know and I can do my best to try to match people up and get people in contact with one another to caravan. It's a lot of fun when you can get a group of cars on the freeway to cruise with - not to mention a fun sight to see.

Can always skip graduation... hahahaha jk jk. I think Kyle came to the show before or after his graduation.

Thanks! We definitely have the advantage with having both Camaros and Firebirds there but it's definitely getting big! Still a one day event, too.

Just shy of 200 registrations received already! Wow! Weather has been gradually getting nicer - hope everyone had a chance to start enjoying the nice weather we had last week.

Doug sorry we missed Mendon. It was down to only Kyle and I going and when I woke up to rain that morning, I called him and we both agreed to "pass". How was the show?? It cleared up to be a great day, now I'm kicking myself for not going.

 

Hi Scott,

I was not surprised that you missed the Mendon show. If we were not already down there, we would have probably stayed home too. It was cold, breezy and rainy when we met in the hotel lobby at 7am. We hung out for a while, but it looked like the rain would not let up, so we headed to the show in the rain, anyway.

Of course, the participation was way down, (maybe 30 cars when we got there). It started to clear up around 11 am and by noon the sun was out. I even got sunburned before we left. More cars showed up after it dried up, (a couple hundred) but it was still the smallest Mendon Show we've been to.

At one point a new Corvette ZR1 drove through the lot. I didn't expect to see one of those in that small town High School parking lot that day! LOL

 

Wow a new ZR1 in the little town of Mendon?!?!?! One of these years I'm going to make it to that show. In the past I've so busy preparing for the Hamilton show or unwinding from just holding, that I've never felt like going. Now this year when my schedule allows, it rains.


I'll be at the MiFbody Meet & Greet though, rain or shine!!!!

 

This is the first I heard of this! i am SO there!!!

 

You won't be disappointed, we had almost 300 F-bodies there last year.
