Hi I just made the deal. In the process of purchasing my first camaro. Dream or nightmare only time will tell. Its a 1986 aleged iroc z. I say aleged because he claims it is and the rims are iroc. Have yet to run the vin. Even so I got it for $400 with no motor or trans or interior. At all. Oh and no hood. But the body is solid no rust or bondo. And in michigan that's a miracle. So time to piece her together. Hope to learn a lot n make some friends here while I'm at it.

Ill post pics as soon as I can. With christmas here I'm tight on cash but after the new year I'm on the hunt for parts. Mostly like a dashboard and seats so I can pretend I'm driving it and day dream. Vroom vroom beep beep. Lol

 

good luck buddy sounds like you are in the same boat I am in although my car had a complete interior when I bought it, it was crap due to sitting in the weather without T-Tops. Yours sounds to be in better shape than mine regarding the rust as mine has a little rust here and there. I am 2 years into my project and have since purchased my engine and tranny which I am building now and hope to have in my car before summer this year. I am in St. Louis, good luck to you in Michigan!
