If you'd just bring the dern thing to school...

I'm in Palatine when I'm not at school, kinda NW burbs, and I just met up with a guy today who has the ASCD Ram Air hood, so the thirdgen modders are around, just not as obvious I guess.

We hang at 75th and Lemont Rd. We shoot down to Orland Park, too, for some good street action. I should be a good player this summer. $$$$$$$$$$$$

Reno,
Good to meet you. Formula, I'm near you, and I actually work at a store in Downers Grove. There are third-genners around, but most that I know don't mod them.

Same 75th and Lemont. Last time I was there was in a 10-second grey GTA with Monocoque drag wheels pulled behind a big black Dodge V10 truck. My car was a red Formula. See sig for new toy. Be afraid.

I live in Glen Ellyn, but i am in Naperville all the time and im in Downers Grove a lot too. I'm on 75th every weekend and alot during the week. I rarely see any nice 3rd gens either. I got my car painted at MAACO on ogden, it was a $1500 paint job and it looks nice, they were just sloppy here and there. Post some pics of your cars.

Hey fellow westsiders & southsiders. I'm in Naperville now, formerly from Chicago Ridge. I've heard about 75th & Lemont from my southside buds who go up there, but I went about 7-8 times last summer & didn't see anybody on the White Castle side or the Best Buy side. I've been on Fri and Sat at varying times between 9pm and 2am. When is everyone there???

haha..one of my favorite things to do in the summer, when i go out to lockport, is go by the plush horse at night with the top down and the heaviest music i have blaring blaring(of course usually fearfactory). its funny to see everyone who is waiting outside to all just turn their heads as i make a stop. alright, couldnt resist, i am sure i am not the only one that does it..i am such a tool. sorry,

New Lenox here, I can usually be found cruising the Orland/Tinley area during the good weather. Won't be out this year with the Formula since I'm redoing the whole car, but will be out alot in a friends '82 Trans Am or '92 S10 with a 383 small block. Definitely a mustang killer, lol

Anyway, if any of you guys ever need a hand with your car or some GM parts, I'm a mechanic at a local Chevy dealer. Just give me a hollar.

Brian,
I may take you up on that offer. Well maybe for advice....I'm attempting many projects on my Z I never thought I'd try, but I've gotten more ***** recently. Especially the cam/headers/heads/rockers/miniram setup. I sure hope I'll be ready by summer time.

Do the cops follow you when cruise. Last summer my brother met up with a friend and as the left town two city cops and a county followed them. And if my friends are all together the cops seem to drive by more often and give dirty looks. We're not bothering anyone and most of the time we're on private property. It just bothers me. Keep in mind this was in a small town population 5000. Just wondering what it is like up north.

If they follow you, don't worry about it. Just don't do anything that they can pull you over for. Go the limit, use turn signals, etc. and you'll be fine.
