Chicago area owners who made the 350 swap
Chicago area owners who made the 350 swap
I was just wondering what you have done to make the swap. I plan on swaping in the 350ho conversion kit for my camaro but my car needs a lot of other work like trans and paint. Just trying to find other options to save a little money for other work that needs to be done. Thanks for your help.

I've swapped a 305 for a 350 in my Trans Am and a 2.8 V6 for a 327 in my Firebird. I'm sure I can help you out and save you some money. The 305 to 350 swap was fairly cheap.

I built a 350 for it and ran it with al the stock LG4 parts. I bought an Edelbrock intake, had the carb. redone by The Carb. Shop in California, and had a custom chip done by Hypertech. All together I think it probably cost around $2000. I also have SLP headers and exhaust on this car. I don't think I'm at 300 horses probably closer to 275.
