Maybe good will come from fast and furious movie

The way i see it v8's are the fast and the guys who spent $5,000 to get his 4cyl import to run low 15's are the furious when we smoke them. One thing i hope the movie does is educate the police a little. Maybe it will give them a new bad guy to target: "import car drivers". I know i am getting a little tired of being the one who is targeted just because i drive a red firebird. Hell i cant drive my car after midnight without being stopped and checked out. It is just a little annoying, haven't had a ticket in 8 years, thats because i am 44 yrs. old and know the ropes since i have been through all the crap before. Funny thing i can drive my little green 98 Z24 cavalier all year any way i want to drive and not get pulled over but one friday night after midnight to steak-n-shake in the red firebird running 5mph under the speed limit with mellow exhaust and i got to get hassled. But yet the cops say they don't targwet anyone.

Not only that, but now the ricers might get this impression that they can beat any and all american cars. That makes more suckers for us to eat up when we get challenged.

Y'know what? Let those guys have all the fun they want. This import-tuner "FAD" is not gonna last too much longer. Remember in the 70's? (not to say that we're all that old) But those vans that everyone used to paint wacky colors and put on really tiny rims? That was as cool back then as imports are to day. These days you laugh when you see one of those vans. To end, AMERICAN HOT-RODDING IN AMERICA WILL ALWAYS BE #1, IT'S NOT A FAD.

you guys are all correct the imports are a fad that will be gone soon and we will all laugh. I have 87 GTA and I know the feeling of all the cops watching you. The worst part is that I am 21 so it is harder for me to get out of tickets.

there are too many ways to get out of tickets. I am getting out of a 200 buck ticket now cause the police are denying me a state issued right. Right of Discovery. You type it up deliver it and it is as good as a sapuena. They want a sapuena and I am not going to get one.. I already gave them one!.

I just saw that Fast and Furious movie and I must admit it was very bad. All those ricers scootin around made me laugh a lot. The only car I liked was that black blown big block at the end.

greely stinks. LOL really it does.

i went to csu freshman year. brother went to unc. it stank there. they burn the blood on thursdays.

anyway, ive seen 5 ricers pulled over in omaha cops are definately on the lookout for them more. and they are getting more brave at racing real power. ive also seen more on the side of the road, problably because they tried to mod it themselves, or the cops hauled their ace off to jail.

they really think they can take us now what stupid people, a stock ***** with a big spoiler (looked more like a k-mart shopping kart) pulled up to me in my car and just started a laughing. so I told him his shopping kart needed to go back to k-mart befor they realize it is missing then he gets pissed and drops it a gear. so I go and drop it two gears one at a time to let him know Im gona show him some real power I wave him to hit it as soon as He got even with my front I nail it down with a load chirp and another as I slam it in to 3rd I had to point and laugh at him when he caught up. the only thing that really sucked was I beat on my car for a stock *****.

I went over to a guy's house last week to try and get his computer set up to play VCDs.. He had Fast and the Furious, anong others. I got started watching it and had to see the whole thing! Its too bad that its about pathetic ricers, but it was still a cool movie. Too bad he wrecked his old man's ride in the end like that..

Oh, and does anyone really say "NOS"? Around here, we call it "nitrous".. I figured the NOS company, whose banners were displayed on walls throughout the movie, paid them to only call it "NOS"!

Seeing how Holley owns NOS, they probably paid quite a bit to get their name plastered everywhere in the movie. I noticed Summit is backordered on many of their Nitrous kits lately... I'm going to put off the nitrous project until the prices go back down! Must be all the ricers trying to put the kits on.. I bet half of them just realized that you have to actually know how to work on cars to install nitrous! Speaking of ricers, take a look at: http://www.ricecop.com Everyone NEEDS to enforce the rice laws! Place these tickets on their ugly cars...
