Wondering about my old Birds
I was looking through pics of a couple of my 91 T/A's that I parted ways with many years ago. My first one was a 91 Trans Am, code 72u medium red metallic with gray cloth interior. It only had the 305 tpi with the auto, but it had t-tops and I was 17 when I got it (it was only a year old). I traded it in on a '94 Z28 in 1993. Long story short, I didn't keep the Camaro too long. I loved the power but never got used to the looks. Then in 1996 I found another 91 Trans Am, also code 72u but with the beechwood interior and no t-tops. I kept that one until 1999 when circumstances forced me to sell it. Fast forward to August this year, and I decided to join the thirdgen ranks again. I just purchased a 89 GTA, gunmetal gray with 45k miles on it. Makes me feel 18 again just climbing behind the wheel. However, I am curious as to what became of my old birds so I did a little research. I found that my first 91 is registered in Minneapolis area, and my second 91 is registered here in Illinois still! I'm not looking to buy either one of them back, unless the price is right. I'm just curious if anyone on here owns them. Funny thing is that I remembered the VIN's on both of them.

I sold my 90 350 Formy in 92 for a 93 Z28. Fast forward 21 years, I saw my old Formy at a cruise in in Cleveland TN. LOL. I sold the car in Gainesville,GA. Its kinda funny how nice cars stay around.

Re: Wondering about my old Birds
When I get around to showing my car next year, and someone tells me they used to own my car, I'll just have to ask his name and I can confirm it. The first owner had his name/address on the papers that came with the car when I bought it from the dealer when he originally took delivery of it. And if he offers to buy my car back, the answer is NO! Not at any price he'll offer.
