Good mechanic in mid-michigan
I was wondering if anyone could give me any help on finding a good cheap mechanic near me. I've already taken my iroc to a mechanic and he somewhat fixed the car. He got it to idle smother but the car still won't lock up the brakes. I've been working on the car since I got it in the spring and I'm getting fed up with it. Any advice on where to go would be helpful. Thanks

Please fill out your profile and let us know where you are and how far you are willing to go. Mid-Michigan is a pretty large area.
I have always done my own brake work, but when something comes up that I don't have time or tools for, I go to Hank Graff in Davison. I am a Master ASE Certified technician and I have had them work on every vehicle I have owned at least once. They do good work, see Scott VanAlst.

I'm pretty much willing to go anywhere that I'm convinced can do I good Job and fix it right for a good price (with in reason maybe 100 miles but not a limiting factor if there good.) Being a pore highschool student and all I've got a vary limited budget.

Do you have iron rear disk calipers or alum ones. Or is it drum brakes in the rear. Assume the front's are the stock 10.5" disks
