Re: Tech in Michigan

Where are you at in Michigan?

Masterworks in Madison Heights was always well thought of on our old Michigan F-body forum.

Also Jake's Automotive in Sterling Heights.

I have not personally used either, though I've been in both shops. I'm hoping to have MW do the exhaust work on my car when the time comes.

Re: Tech in Michigan

I will check them out, thanks for the advise. I’m located 10 miles east of Flint so that would work fine. Looking for someone to do motor and exhaust work on a 92 Z28 & 87 GTA. Nothing extreme keep it stock and freshen it up but want someone who knows what they are and should be. Thanks again.

Re: Tech in Michigan

I live North of Flint, in the Clio Area. I have taken my car to Muffler Man on Davison Rd, and they do an ok job.

Across the street from Muffler Man is Colberg Radiator, Mike has always done me a great job, a little more expensive, but it gets done right.

Transmission: Al's Trans and Gear on Saginaw St, Al is a great guy, can be a bit blunt, Keep in mind he is CASH only, but he does a great job. Prices are usually great!

If you need electrical work there is a place on Corunna Rd Chet's. He is really expensive but he does a great job as well

Alignments, and front end work Mr Front End on Saginaw st, Louie is awesome.

Hope that helps
