rebuilt a motor for my 86 and didn't realize the edelbrock intake wouldn't clear the hood, so i'm looking for a cowl induction hood at a good price. anybody know where i could find one? used is fine.

also, i bought some headman headers (full length) for my camaro and the drivers side pipe is hitting the crossmember so it won't bolt up properly, what do you think my best coarse of action would be?

 

no hood ideas except new from summit, ramchargers or something like that.

Your header problem sucks, if you aren't going to get new headers to fix the problem, you may want to cut the offending pipe and reweld it to fit. This is of course if you have the capability.

Also, fyi, you will have better luck posting tech stuff like this under tech/general engine because it gets a lot more viewers.
