This is not one of those cheapie scanners that just tell you what trouble codes are in the computer. This thing will capture real-time data while your car is running, and it monitors dozens of sensors and component functions. The section of the manual that explains all the various GM component data is about 20 pages long! I show two of the pages in a pic below.

If you have an OBD1 thirdgen, it's a real nice tool to have to assist you in troubleshooting/monitoring your vehicle.

$100 includes the main unit, OBD1 cable, original manual and box. The instructions indicate that it can be configured for OBDII as well, but when I tried to see if it would work just now, it said I needed some kind of update. I bought it to use on my '92 Formula, so did not need OBDII anyway.
