1982 and 83 Technical Service Bulletins
Have several surplus sets of Chevy Technical Service Bulletins and Service News issues from the 1960s to the early 80s. They cover all Chevy models, not just Camaro. For those that don’t know, Service Bulletins address a single (usually service) issue, while the Service News are monthly (usually 11 a year) multi-page periodicals that describe new features and models, but also summarize some of the broader service and repair issues covered in the individual Service Bulletins. Many of the issues discussed are not covered in the shop manuals, which are usually published earlier in the year. You can see what these look like by searching Chev Service Bulletins on ebay.
Am offering sets of 1982 and 83 Service Bulletins and Service News for $25 each plus postage. They are each a pile of paper that is about two inches thick. Am more interested in cleaning out the garage and getting these in the hands of those who may enjoy/use them than making a lot of money. The SBs include technical (orange color), info (blue), and recall campaign (red). Some are illustrated. It’s always hard to determine if one has a complete set of SBs, as a few numbers every year are cancelled before they’re issued, and some are later superseded as obsolete and are discarded by the receiving dealer. So am not claiming that these are absolutely complete sets – but pretty close. Have a couple of genuine Chevy Service Bulletin binders to hold them, and for another $5 will throw one of those in. If interested, drop me a PM. Also have a somewhat less complete 1984 set for $20 plus postage. Not sure if that set is less complete or (more likely) that fewer were actually issued that year.
