Sorry, been real busy this week. Weather permitting I will try to come out on Saturday, 9-13. I'll have to show off my new 4th gen seats.

Not to sure if I will be out tonight, weather permitting maybe. The cops were out in force last night. They would not let anyone park along the sidewalk at all. One Dewitt policeman sat by the driveway coming into the place. So be careful tonight if they are out again.

I can understand them keeping the peace, but don't they have any criminals to handle? It makes sence for them to keep an eye on things, but it seems like a big waste of resources to act like that.

i am going to kind of "restart" the club over this winter.
i have a few ideas to make it a little easier to manage, so hopefully all will go well.
if you are interested, let me know.

Well I throught that everyone died, only kidding. I'm still up to starting a Thirdgen Club. I am still going down to Thompson Road on Friday and Saturday night. You would be surprise how many still hang out. Well it looks like it is time to put up the Iroc, I will if they salt the roads. Another short fall for it. Time to start to pull the engine apart and do what I want to. We need to start a CNY Thirdgen web site. My problem is that I know very little about doing this. So lets finally pick a date and a place to met.

Oh ... wait... I am still alive, too :-) Wasn't too sure after the snow today.
(Really, I have had my nose in a book since Sept... can't wait for December)
I'm interested as well.
The RS is currently sitting in the garage on ramps and stands waiting for me to POR15 the floor and install the SFCs and other undercarrage work.
What's everyone's winter project?

i was on the boulevard and on thompson road a few times this summer, but not as much as i have been in summers past. the cops weemed to have hard ons for us, and there was always a lot of shady people around. i usually just parked and walked around...i couldnt afford getting tickets for something stupid.
for those of you that dont know what the club is that i started a while ago, here is the deal...
in the spring of 2000 i started it. it wasnt just a thirdgen club, it was a general f-body club. it's called the "Central New York F-Body Association", or CNYFBA for short. we had a couple meetings that summer, but not much went on. it was still in it's infancy, and if i remember right, the weather was pretty bad a lot of the time.
in 2001, i kind of tried again to get it going, but there wasnt much interest. most people couldnt get together, blah blah blah.
in the summers of 2002 and this past summer, it has been pretty much non-existant.
but, here is what i have been working on. i found a web hosting company to host a site for the club (it will probably be at cnyfba.com), and i am working on getting the details down about the site. i have also been working on a logo.
the site will be pretty basic, becaue i dont have the money to pay anyone to do it. the hosting is going to cost me like 35 bucks a month i think.
if you check out my site, http://z28boy.cz28.com you can see what the site will probably look like. that is about as good as it gets with what i can do.
if you guys have any ideas at all, just let me know.
email me at cnyfba@twcny.rr.com
and, where do all of you guys live?
talk to you later...

I'm up for this, are we going to have just a Thirdgen Club or a F-Body Club????? Call me and we will get togather. I just got a job , part time working for Wegmans on Taft Rd in their Photo Lab. Finally using my degree in Photo from OCC. Now I can afford the changes that I want to make to the Iroc. Well get in touch with me and we can see what we can do to get this thing off the ground.

well, here is the thing...
the club that i have been working on is an all f-body club. camaros and firsbirds of all years.
if somebody else wants to start an all-thirdgen club, then that is great. i was going to do that also, just because i have a lot of it started, but i was going to wait until the general f-body club got off the ground first. so if you guys dont want to wait till springish for me to finish it all up, then that's cool.
i figured that after i got a good member base of the f-body club, it would be a lot easier to start a thirdgen club right from there. also, my plan was to start a club of each generation, and have all the different "clubs" come together as the "CNY F-body Association".
that was the plan up till now, but like i said, most of it was going to be more towards srping. i wanted to get in touch with all the people i know over the winter, get a lot of the details worked out, then do the thirdgen club later on.
what do you guys think? i think that makes most sense...
chris, i do know you...i know your kids too, i went to high school with Vinnie (i graduated with him).

It is a small world isn't it. Lets take one thing at a time. So lets get the F-Body Club started and the thirdgen will come later. I start working at the Taft Rd Wegmans this week. I am working Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday 12 to 8 in the Photo lab. E-mail me what is going on.
