yeah, they earn their brownie points on nailing people with dark tint.

I have 32% on my sides and 22% on my hatch. Got the tint done in Sept. so i was only driving the car for alittle more than 2 months before it went away for the winter but i wasnt hassled at all during that time.

My 91 B4C had 20% all around for 2 years. I got pulled over for other things and never got hasseled for my tint.

It really depends on the mood of the cop and how you respond to him.

If your willing to drive to Allentown theres a decent place called Xtreme Window Tinting (Formerly 'Made in the Shade' Window Tinting). Supposedly the andrettis get their cars tinted there. They did an OK job on my car. A few small bubbles on the side windows...had a little trouble tinting the back window--had to take it back twice to get it fixed. But they have a lifetime warranty. Cost either $160 or $180. I forget.

I like the price, but if I'd have to drive up there a couple times for them to get it right, that would cost a shnoodle in gas.
But I'll definetly keep it as an option if I can't find a closer place.

Thanks.
