Help me find this car....

I sold my first Camaro in May of '05 for $2000. The kid gave me $100 as a down payment and I never saw the rest of the money. I have been trying to track down this car so I can get it back. Rumor has it the car is located in Concord, NH.All the cops I have talked to say they can't help me out, so I figure I would take matters into my own hands. Here are the details...305 4-bbl, 5-spd, T-Tops,late 70's Z28 fender louvers, car is Purple with primer on drivers side fenders due to accidents... If you know where this car is let me know.thanks

I do have a spare set of keys. I was told by both the DMV and the local law that even though I have the title, it really doesn't matter because according to the State of NH, anything 15 years or older is excempt from having a title. I do have a copy of an old registration that is in my name and a copy of the bill of sale. I did find out that if I went after the kid I sold it to, it would end up in small claims court which basically means I would get my $1900 instead of the car. I wouldn't mind that, but I can sell the parts and get more than the whole car. To make matters worse, after the kid bought the car, he was arrested for stealing a U-haul truck and is now serving time in jail last I heard. Kind of a messed up situation if you asked me.

well the location where he was arrested shouldnt be far from where the car sits i would think. Go look for it. IF you find it call the cops and tell them your taking the car until its resolved in court or see if the kid just wants to give it up.

Jim... good question. at the time I sold it to him , we both lived in the same town and I saw him about once a week or so. I didn't think it would be a problem because he was friends with my girlfriend.

I might have a hard time finding it because apparently when I went to the DMV, they told me that the car has been sold atleast twice, but it's in the same town. But then again, look at the car, how hard would it be to find that thing
